About Men's Wedding Rings

There is no right or wrong answer to who pays for a man's wedding ring. Tradition has it that you pay for your other half's wedding ring, but most couples end up splitting the cost of the two rings evenly these days!
We find most men choose plain wedding bands within the regions of 4mm to 7mm. In terms of choosing a metal colour, the best thing to do is try on a few options to see what works for you. We find some of our clients like to match their metal colour with that of their partner’s wedding or engagement ring, but most make the call in finding the ring metal that suits them most, regardless of their partner’s choice.
There’s nothing to say you can’t throw out the rule book and create something truly unique. Get inspired by our core collection of men's wedding rings, or book an appointment to discuss your wedding ring.
Most men choose plain wedding rings. Men tend to choose platinum or gold wedding rings of 4mm or thicker, with a price of around £765. Men's wedding rings can be thinner, and the cost of a 2mm men's wedding band starts at £315.
If you're looking for something thicker, around 6mm, it can cost around £1,145 for a light court style.
Set yourself a realistic budget and do some research on how much to spend on a wedding ring, and use this to guide your ring selection.
Men's wedding rings can be platinum, yellow gold, rose gold or white gold. Very few men choose to match their wedding ring metal to their partner's purposefully, and instead choose the option they think looks best on them.
Different people suit different metal colours - and some people have strong preferences for the look of one metal over others. Generally speaking, platinum and white gold suit cooler skin tones while rose gold and yellow gold suit warm skin tones - but there are no rules!
Book an appointment to try on different metals and find the right men's wedding ring for you.
