About Our Diamond Wedding Bands
Diamond wedding rings feature a row of diamonds that are typically around the same width of the ring band, known as melee diamonds. At Queensmith, we source and meticulously choose each melee diamond to match in size, shape and quality, to create a seamlessly continuous look. From round to princess cut, channel, pavé or scallop set, our collection of diamond wedding bands have been exquisitely designed to celebrate your love story.
Crafting handmade rings is at the heart of what we do. Whether you buy your bespoke wedding ring individually or are interested in diamond wedding ring sets, we offer a service to match your diamond ring to fit seamlessly alongside your unique engagement ring. Most of our engagement rings are ‘wedfit’ or ‘wedfriendly’, and when you meet with an expert in store, we’ll ensure your wedding ring is crafted to match your engagement ring, whether bought from Queensmith or elsewhere. That’s the beauty of crafting bespoke jewellery.

How to Pair a Diamond Wedding Ring
When pairing your diamond wedding ring with your engagement ring, we would recommend choosing the same metal as the engagement band for a flawless pairing.
However, it is all down to personal preference. Mixed metals can create a modern and unique look. Pairing two different gold tones can create layers of warmth; for example, choosing a yellow gold diamond wedding ring to layer with your white gold engagement ring makes for a remarkable pairing.
If possible, we’d also advise choosing the same diamond colour for continuity. This way, your rings will sparkle the same way in the light.
If you wish to pair your diamond wedding ring with your partner’s wedding ring, consider the metal that you both prefer. If you both like platinum wedding rings, then you can pick from our range of platinum diamond wedding rings and our full platinum ring collection to find your ideal pairing.
If you both prefer a different type of metal, you could always create a pairing by matching the width of your band. We offer a range of widths to suit your preference. With our free ring sizing service, you can rest assured that you’ll find the perfect fit.
Choosing a metal for your diamond wedding ring will come down to your personal preference, but you may wish to pick a metal that suits your skin tone. Read our blog to find out which jewellery metal best suits your skin tone.
Caring for your diamond wedding ring
To clean your diamond wedding ring, we recommend getting some dish washing liquid and filling a bowl with warm water. Place your ring into the bowl and leave it to soak for ten to twenty minutes. The washing liquid and warm water will break down any oil or impurities on your ring.
After soaking, use a toothbrush to lightly brush any remaining dirt away. Be sure to brush behind the diamond and under the setting to remove any stubborn dirt. Whilst diamonds are nature’s most durable material, metals like platinum and gold can scratch - so make sure to use light brushes with a soft toothbrush.
Every Queensmith wedding ring comes with a lifetime care package, which includes free professional cleaning and polishing as often as you need.
