When it comes to chic and timeless style, Margot Robbie truly embodies it – and so does her engagement ring. The Australian actress and producer is best known for her roles as Harley Quinn, Tonya Harding and Barbie. She met her now-husband Tom Ackerley, an English actor and producer, in 2013 on the set of Suite Française, and have now been married for 9 years.

Here’s everything you need to know about Margot’s engagement and wedding rings – from her effortlessly elegant stacked set to how they perfectly complement her signature style.

Margot Robbie's engagement ring

Margot Robbie's engagement ring features a stunning pear-shaped natural diamond, estimated to be around 1.5 carats. This distinctive cut blends the brilliance and facet pattern of a round cut diamond with the graceful, elongated silhouette of a marquise shape. The result is a teardrop-like stone that combines the best of both styles.

A pear cut diamond typically features 58 facets, just like a round brilliant, allowing it to deliver exceptional sparkle and fire. The tapered point and rounded end work together to elongate the finger and create a soft, feminine aesthetic, perfectly suited to Margot's sleek and sophisticated style.

The pear diamond is set on a yellow gold band, which lends the ring a warm, vintage-inspired glow. A half pavé setting enhances the band with delicate rows of small diamonds, ensuring the ring catches the light from every angle and adds continuous shimmer to the design.

Margot Robbie’s engagement ring closely resembles Queensmith’s Pear Bardot ring – a refined solitaire style that can be fully customised. If you would like to add a pavé diamond band like Margot’s, our experts can help you craft a bespoke ring that's uniquely yours.

How much did Margot Robbie's engagement ring cost?

Margot Robbie’s engagement ring is estimated to be worth between £11k to £15k ($15k–$20k USD) for a natural pear shaped diamond, depending on the diamond quality and total carat weight.

If Margot were to have opted for a lab grown diamond, the cost of the ring would have been reduced to around £2.8k to £3.7k ($3.8k–$5k USD).

Margot Robbie's wedding ring

Like her engagement ring, Margot Robbie’s wedding ring is a micro pavé band crafted from yellow gold; as a result the two rings stack nicely with one another, creating cohesion between the two rings, complementing the sparkle of her engagement ring without overshadowing it.

This is a similar design to Queensmith's Pavé Set wedding ring in 18k yellow gold.

Margot Robbie’s wedding

Rumours of the couple's engagement surfaced in June 2015 when Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerly were both spotted wearing yellow gold wedding bands. However, it wasn’t until December 2016 that the couple officially announced their engagement with an Instagram pic showing Margot wearing a pear shaped engagement ring. The post had no caption, letting the image speak for itself.

They tied the knot in a private ceremony near the Gold Coast in Australia in 2016 and welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in late 2024.
